Core Wine Company Rhône-Style Blends

Garrett's Emporium now offers several excellent wines from the Core Wine Company!  Wine maker Dave Corey is a long-time freakish fan of Mourvèdre based wines from Southern France and several regions of Spain. Garrett's Emporium carries several of his Rhône-style blends comprised of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes. The grapes are from vineyards in Santa Barbara Country which is part of the California Central Coast AVA, a major wine producing region. The terrain and climate of inland areas of the Central Coast are very similar to the Rhône River Valley of France, and many California winemakers like Dave Corey are producing some outstanding Rhône-style blends. These are spicy, aromatic and well structured wines.Try something different!
