Garrett's Emporium has added two outstanding wines from Tantara Winery. Tantara is dedicated to producing the very finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah wines. Located on the beautiful Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County CA., their wines are sourced from top Central Coast growers and vineyard designate from vineyards such as Bien Nacido, Dierberg, Solomon Hills, Sanford & Benedict, Rio Vista, Talley Rincon, La Colline (Laetitia), Silacci, Pisoni, Garys', and Brosseau. The 2006 Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir is a blend from several of these significant vineyards. The 2006 La Colline Pinot Noir is an elegant, pristinely focused and concentrated Pinot. The aromas are spicy red cherry, red plum, red current and cinnamon. It is both sleek and gutsy on the palate, with good zest, tight tannins and a gripping mouth-feel.
